Chicken Pox

 About a week after Hudson's 15 month Dr. appt. I started to notice his leg was really irritated near where he got his immunizations.  It didn't seem to bother him, but it wasn't getting any better so a couple days later Matt took him in to the Dr. to make sure everything was OK.....and it was the Chicken Pox!!  He got them from the Chicken Pox vaccine.  1 in 400,000 people will get them this way this year and Hudson is the one.....oh Buddy!  The Dr. couldn't believe it and had never seen it happen before.  I think they did start to itch him a little, but never seemed to slow him down much.  Nothing a little benadryl couldn't cure.  :)  Unfortunatley the Chicken Pox vaccine is a two shot vaccine so poor little Buddy is going to have to get another shot of the pox.  We're hoping since he broke out once he won't next time....fingers crossed.

 

You can see they seemed to really bother him.....as he was cheesing for the camera.  :)  That is one of his spots in the middle of his chest.  He also has one on his neck, side, toe and bottom.  The picture below is the best one I could get of his leg considering he is constantly on the go, it looks much better in this picture than it did before.
