Hudson you are 5 Months old! I can't believe it....where has my baby gone? You are such a busy little guy! You rolled over from tummy to back on Feb. 2nd and were soon rolling over from back to tummy. As soon as we put you on your back now it's only a matter of seconds before you flip over and are laying on your belly pushing yourself up and looking around. You don't want to miss a thing! :) Your really strong and holding yourself up very well...you squirm your legs all around too....I don't think it will be too long and you will be on the move.
You are in size 6 or 9 month clothes and I am now buying you 12 month clothes! Yikes....I figured you'd be at least a size ahead....but I didn't think you'd be two sizes ahead. :) But the more I think about it I think your sister was two sizes ahead too. We are finishing up the size three diapers....they are getting pretty snug...but I'm hoping we can finish up what we have.
You are eating one tablespoon of cereal with apples for breakfast at Melanie's and then having 1 tablespoon of cereal with a veggie for dinner at home. You have gotten so good with the spoon in only a couple weeks. At first you just wanted to suck everything off the spoon....now once you see the spoon you open your mouth so wide...it's so cute. As far as baby food you have had....apples, green beans, sweet potatoes, carrots, squash and peas. You don't seem to love any of them more than the other so far....but you're a pretty good little eater. You're still taking a 6 oz. bottle around 6:00 am, another little bit with your cereal, another 6 oz. mid-day, a little with your dinner, and then another 6 oz. bottle with 1 1/2 tablespoons of cereal in it for your night time bottle.
You have become a good little sleeper. We have started to be able to put you down around 9 or 9:30 and you will sleep until 5:30 or 6:00 on most nights. I think you've only woke up for a bottle in the middle of the night twice in the last month. Thanks buddy!
You gnaw on everything.....especially your fingers!! I always think you are teething....but I can't feel anything close to coming through. I think it's just your "thing" to always be chewing on something. You are jabbering all the time too....you love to hear yourself talk. I think you're trying to keep up with your brother and sister. :)
